    For 24 years the VBA has had continued success with creating a sense of community for biomedical, clinical engineering and imaging service professionals in the greater Virginia area. Our annual event offers avenues for developing valuable relationships, and advancing your company’s products and services. The VBA has arranged social and networking events to promote attendee and vendor interaction. A Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday, September 20th, at Devil's Knob Golf Course at the Wintergreen Resort. The event promises a casual atmosphere that will allow you to further build your professional relationships.

    In memory of our longtime member and golf coordinator, Kevin, we are officially naming our annual golf tournament the "Kevin Breen Memorial Golf Classic". This year's golf outing will be held on Wednesday the 20th of September at the Devil's Knob Golf Course. Registration will start at 11:30 am and a Shotgun start will happen at 12:30 pm. The costs is $50 for an individual or $200 for a Sponsored Team. There will be a box lunch served before start and prizes for Closet to pin and Long Drive (Male and Female). First and 2nd place awarded.

    Format is Captains choice where all four players take shot and you play from best position, all four again take shot and repeat until ball holed. Must use at least one drive from each person on front nine and back nine.

    From I-66, take Exit 43A (Gainesville, Rt. 29 South). Follow 29 South to I-64 West (in Charlottesville). Take I-64 West to Exit 107 (Crozet, Rt. 250) Take 250 West to Rt. 151 South, turn left. Follow Rt. 151 South to Rt. 664, 14.2 miles. Turn right and Wintergreen is 4.5 miles ahead on Rt. 664. Map it.

    Philips will be providing full certification training on the V60 Ventilator at this year's annual meeting.


    Please note Thur/Fri 9/21 & 22 Sessions must be confirmed with Philips by this Friday July 14th. 

    ** After that date, wait list registrants will have the opportunity to register for any unfilled seats. **

    We are pleased to partner with Philips to offer our members the opportunity to attend this certification based course on servicing the V60 Ventilator. This is the same 2-day class you would receive if you traveled to Philips' training facility.


    ** Please read the following instructions carefully.**

    You must register with the VBA and Philips for this course. Registration through the VBA Website is only for the Annual Meeting Attendance. To participate and receive credit for this class, you must register with Philips via a separate form and submit payment for $2k directly to them. Don't wait, this class is limited to the first 12 confirmed registrants with Philips. If we fill this class, please add your name to the wait-list and Philips may offer an alternate class the same week, prior to the annual meeting.*

    Register for the Flight 60 Ventilator class today!

    Space is limited to the first 12 registrants.

    This is a Full Manufactures training and attendees will receive a training Certificate upon completion. This Class will enable you to maintain the Flight Medical Flight 60 Vent and will cover the following:
    • Theory of Pneumatic Operation
    • Theory of Electronic Operation
    • Electronic Calibration
    • Operation Verification Procedure
    • Removal /Installation of Major Sub Assemblies
    • Service and Training Manuals will be provided
    ** Flight Medical does not provide Flight 60 Vents or tools for the training.** Each Student will need to bring a Flight 60 and the required tools from there facility.

     Attendees should have basic electronic skills and have adequate training to be qualified to service and repair a life support medical device.
